Mission
Pacific Northwest Veteran Assistance Programs Mission is to support our Veteran brothers and sisters who have served our country and are in emotional and financial need. We support Veterans who reside in Snohomish County, WA and Shoreline, WA.
Pacific Northwest Veterans Assistance Program serves Veterans that served at least 1 day on active duty or are currently in the Army Reserve or National Guard. The Veteran will need to show proof of service (VA Card, DD-214 or a current Military ID card) and not have a dishonorable discharge or bad conduct discharge.
Services
We provide a monthly paint event for Veterans and military family members. We call this Operation Art to Heal. We hope by bringing veterans and family members together this will help to create a community of healing. Our goal is to combat veteran suicide, PTSD, depression and anxiety brought on by war and military sexual trauma through art.
Quarterly we share the art that is created in our paint events or by veterans in their safe space. We have art exhibits in local city halls or community centers.
Provide additional financial support through gift cards.
